Boeing Brazil is seekingan IT Technical Support, reporting to the IT Regional Operations Manager of Canada and Latin America, working out of the São José Dos Campos office.
The IT Technical Support will provide technical support at our local Global Engineering site as part of the Canada and Latin America Regional IT Operations team.
While the primary focus will be on supporting the hardware and software of our global engineering teams, you will gain exposure to diverse technologies providing a wide array of exciting learning objectives to choose from.
As Boeing IT team member you will not only get to meet everyone in at the local site (as you support their requests) but you will also work with a highly trained and experienced IT team around the world.
Position Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support.
- Perform hardware repairs.
- Responsible for laptop setup for new users and refreshes
- Ongoing maintenance and setup of meeting rooms with audio/video solutions.
- Assist with various project work.
- Responsible for ongoing asset coordination which includes maintaining inventory.
- General IT troubleshooting and support.
- Any additional technical support duties as assigned by the management team.
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the listed location.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- Must have existing rights to work in Brazil
- Fluent in both written and verbal English
- Excellent customer service, communication skills; professional, courteous and highly service oriented
- Ability to interact with all levels of an organization in a professional, diplomatic and tactful manner.
- Previous work experience in IT
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- Must have completed or currently be enrolled and working towards a degree or diploma in Computer Science or a related field of study.
- CompTIA A+, Microsoft Desktop Support Technician certification or equivalent is preferred.
- Desktop support experience with Microsoft Windows and Office.
- Reliable, responsible, conscientious and self motivated.
- Ability to follow detailed tasks to completion with minimal supervision.
- Applicable and appropriate educational/certification credentials from an accredited institution and/or equivalent experience is required.
Relocation:
Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.
