Software Engineer
Essential Responsibilities:
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to implement project goals, requirements, and in given timelines.
- Develop SW to deploy various components of the software across various nodes and manages multiple side by side instances of the SW.
- Keep abreast of the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices.
- Contribute to existing documentation or knowledge base that expedites resolution time of queries from stakeholders like quality team, customer support, global service team, etc.,
- Triage SW issues and track them and debug to identify the root causes of issues, resolve with fast turnaround time - Creating impact on overall system, and quality.
- Proactively identify and mitigate technical challenges and risks.
- Conduct thorough code reviews and provide actionable feedback.
Minimum Qualifications
Qualifications/Requirements:
- MS/MTech degree in Computer Science/SW Engg/Electronics/Electrical Engg/Mechanical/Aerospace Engg disciplines.
- Strong object-oriented programming skills in C#/Java/Python
- Knowledge in Inter-Process Communication (IPC) techniques and tools viz: gRPC, REST, GraphQL protobuf, JSON, etc.,
- Work experience in frontend technologies like angular, react is an added advantage.
- Experience with container orchestration and management tools - Dockers, K8's, Helm Charts, etc.,
- [Desirable] Experience in database management system, including
- SQL Database: SQL Server, SQLite
- No SQL Databases: MongoDB
- Time Series Databases: Prometheous, InfluxDB
- Familiarity with observability tools and practices - Opentelemetry, Grafana, Elastic, Kibana, Logstash, etc.,
- Proficiency in scripting languages like shell and ansible for automation solutions.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
