Job Description
An associate software developer is part of a team that designs, develops, tests, deploys, and maintains software applications and systems. The role works closely with experienced engineers, leads, and cross-functional team members to deliver high-quality, scalable, and maintainable software solutions.
Key Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electronics Engineering, and related field.
- Strong programming fundamentals and software development practices.
- With background in at least one of the following: embedded software, edge AI, web development, software integration, software tests, DevOps, and digital signal processing.
- Familiarity with version control systems (such as Git) and code review processes.
- Proactive and passionate in learning and applying tools, programming, and platforms to accomplish the assigned project.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective team player with good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong teamwork and collaboration mindset.
Key Responsibilities
- Undergo an on-boarding (training and project immersions) and later be deployed to a specific software team such as in embedded systems, web technologies, AI/ML, robotics, software tests, DevOps, and other software applications.
- Work with experienced team members to design, develop, test, debug, and maintain software applications based on business and technical requirements.
- Collaborate with different functions involved in the project (hardware, embedded SW, middle-layer and application layer SW, SW integration, algorithms & AI/ML, etc.).
- Complete assigned work on time and with quality.
- Clearly document and communicate his/her work and learnings to ensure quality and team collaboration.
