Devsinc is seeking a talented Associate Software Engineer - Ruby on Rails (RoR) to join our innovative team. In this role, you will be part of the development team responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining web applications using Ruby on Rails. You will work collaboratively with other developers and stakeholders to deliver high-quality software solutions that meet user needs.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain web applications using Ruby on Rails.
- Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including design, coding, testing, and deployment.
- Collaborate with product managers and designers to understand and translate requirements into technical specifications.
- Write clean, maintainable code and conduct code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to best practices.
- Troubleshoot and debug applications to resolve issues and improve performance.
- Stay updated on new technologies and trends in Ruby on Rails development.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of Ruby programming language and Ruby on Rails framework.
- Familiarity with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Experience with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL).
- Knowledge of version control systems, preferably Git.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- A problem-solving mindset and a willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
- Prior experience in web application development is a plus, but entry-level candidates are encouraged to apply.
