You will be experienced in working in commercial or class action litigation. You will share our passion for social justice and possess a strong desire to champion voices not always heard. Naturally, you are adept at building strong relationships and communicating with impact.
Ideally, we are seeking lawyers with proven practicing experience and strong analytical ability, technical excellence, decisiveness and leadership skills.

You can expect to have responsibility for working in the day-to-day conduct of one or two class actions and will work in one of Australia’s most dynamic and determined litigation teams. We are seeking Melbourne based candidates for this role, but candidates from other locations will be considered.

The following skills, experience and attributes will ensure your ongoing success:
Tertiary qualifications in Law and hold a current Practicing Certificate
More than 4 years post admission experience working in commercial or class action litigation
Excellent technical legal and analytical skills, including a demonstrated track record of producing technically excellent legal work
Exceptional influence and negotiation skills and an ability to communicate effectively and compassionately
Demonstrated skills in effective network and relationship management, and working as part of a team
Ability to listen, exercise judgement and resolve problems expeditiously
Commercial acumen and interest in key issues in the class actions sector
Passion, with a keen sense of social justice
