We're seeking an Associate, Scientific Engagement and Commercial Partnerships to join our mission of improving and extending lives by learning from the experience of every person with cancer. In this role, you will support the International Research Scientists and the Partnerships team to foster collaborations and advance our real-world evidence initiatives globally.

What You'll Do
You will drive day to day project management of our cross-industry research consortium the Flatiron FORUM (Fostering Oncology RWE Uses and Methods), and support client engagement with key RWE stakeholders in the UK and Europe. Flatiron FORUM's aim is to enable better Heath Technology Assessment (HTA) decision-making through the exemplar use of RWE and research methods, to accelerate patient access to oncology therapies. Additionally you will:
- Support execution of the FORUM roadmap through project planning, logistics, communications, milestone development, deliverable tracking, and budgeting
- Coordinate, moderate, and document meetings, workshops, and presentations with internal and external stakeholders, including key opinion leaders
- Deepen your knowledge of RWE methodologies and Flatiron's data capabilities in order to help shape the FORUM's direction by leveraging expertise in clinical research, market access, and HTA
- Support collaboration discussions and negotiations with pharma partners, HTA bodies and data vendors from scoping to execution, including meeting preparation, meeting logistics, and contract negotiations
- Track and monitor client HTA challenges, submissions, and potential services opportunities
In addition to driving the FORUM, you will:
- Help build and maintain relationships with key RWE stakeholders in the UK and European affiliate organizations of pharmaceutical companies, provide administrative and logistical support for client engagement
- Assist in understanding and documenting client evidence generation needs, collaborate with cross functional team members to synthesise insights to inform client specific pitches, evidence solutions, and product development
- Support the International Research Scientist team to track and ensure delivery of planned publications, abstract submission and preparations for conferences
- Support execution of the Research Oversight Process in the UK to build advocacy and drive transparency regarding the research applications for access to Flatiron Health UK Real-World Data products
Who You Are
You are proactive, collaborative, and eager to learn. Additionally, you possess the following skills and qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as life sciences, health data, or public health
- 2+ years of experience in management consulting, technology, pharmaceutical industry or clinical research
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
- Ability to independently problem-solve to address project challenges, escalating complex issues when necessary
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to prepare clear and concise client facing materials
- Enthusiasm for oncology, learning from health data, and advancing healthcare outcomes
- Ability to work collaboratively within a cross-functional team and engage stakeholders professionally

- You have familiarity with basic data visualization or analytics tools
- You have experience working in a fast-paced or startup environment
- You have basic knowledge of real-world evidence, clinical research, market access, and data analytics

The annual pay range reflected above for this position is based on the preferred primary location of the role which is listed in the job description. Salary ranges for other locations vary from the range reflected above. Base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. An annual bonus and equity may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position offered.
