Leading the industry in mobile data acquisition for the last decade, 2KGO specializes in 3D scanning and performance capture for video games, specifically with the most distinguished athletes, actors, and musicians.
What We Need
We are looking for a motivated Associate Scan Technician to join us and scan props and garments for our clients. The ideal candidate has strong proficiency with troubleshooting computer hardware/software issues, and is comfortable working with small teams.
The right person can be trained to understand and master the technical process of 3D scanning, so we are interested more in who you are than what you already know.
What You Will Do
● Calibrate, operate, and maintain the team’s laser scanning and photogrammetry systems
● Coordinate with production to ensure on-schedule high-quality data delivery
● Support overall 3D data acquisition needs for 2K’s titles
Who We Think Will Be A Great Fit
● 1+ years experience working in a technical field
● Ability to lift heavy equipment (50+ lbs.)
● Ability to self-manage and meet deadlines with a professional and collaborative attitude
● Excellent communication skills, coordinating and working with multiple departments to achieve goals
Bonus Points
● At least 1 published video game as technician/artist
● Comfortability with out-of-state travel

The pay range for this position in California at the start of employment is expected to be between $28-$43 per hour. However, base pay offered is based on market location, and may vary further depending on individualized factors for job candidates, such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and other objective business considerations. Subject to those same considerations, the total compensation package for employees in regular roles may also include other elements, including a bonus and/or equity awards, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, provided that temporary or intern roles will not be eligible for many of these payments or benefits. Details of participation in compensation and benefit plans (if applicable) will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.If hired, employee will be in an ~at-will position~ and the company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation or benefit program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
