At Manulife IT Delivery Center, we are looking for a rock star Senior Salesforce Full-Stack Software Engineer, who is excited to see the successful implementation of the products they deliver. You will have experience in designing, developing, testing, maintaining and improving software applications as a member of an Agile squad.
Position Responsibilities:
- Design application components that are reusable, efficient, and easy to maintain
- Refactor existing code to improve reliability, performance, and maintainability.
- Integrate Salesforce with external systems using APIs
- Research, evaluate, and prototype emerging technologies
- Collaborate closely with Product Owners and other stakeholders to deliver projects on time and within budget
- Stay updated on the latest Salesforce features and best practices
- Work closely with other squads to drive innovative solutions to meet business needs
- Work closely with software engineers to establish best practices for development, testing, and delivery
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum of 1-3 years as Salesforce Developer
- Clear insight of Salesforce platform best practices, coding, design guidelines and Salesforce Governor Limits
- Expertise in SFDC core concepts including Objects, fields, relationships, record types, etc.
- Expertise in declarative Salesforce features: Workflow, Process Builder, Approval Process, Validation Rules etc.
- Expertise in Apex programming language, including classes, triggers and controllers.
- Expertise Visualforce Page, Aura, LWC, SOQL and SOSL; Frontend and Backend technologies such asHTML, CSS3, jQuery, XML, JSON..
- Expertise in integrating Salesforce with external systems using APIs (REST, SOAP, Bulk API).
- Experience in Agile scrum methodologies and experience of working in an Agile team
- Proficiency in Git or other version control system
Preferred Qualifications:
- Salesforce Certified Administrator
- Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I
- Salesforce Certified Platform Developer II
- Knowledge in Marketing Cloud & Financial Service Cloud
- Knowledge in CI-CD tools (Copado)
