Job DescriptionRole Summary
We’re looking for an Associate Supply & Operations Planning to join the team and focus on growing our own Grocery Store “tMart”, which is the region’s first cloud store concept offering 30-minute delivery of groceries at hypermarket prices. The service has expanded rapidly across Kuwait, UAE, Qatar, Jordan, Bahrain, Egypt, Oman and Iraq.
What’s On Your Plate?
Supplier Fill Rate Management:
Coordinate with suppliers to manage supply and fill rates to optimize for Availability
Build supplier relationships and engage with suppliers to enhance their Service Levels
Manage the daily supply operations and drive process improvements with supplier and internal Demand/Store teams
Manage supplier delivery schedules to ensure they are meeting internal Inbound receiving requirements
S&OP Implementation:
Implement S&OP cycle with suppliers by engaging in proactive discussions to improve Service Levels
Build and share an SKU wise rolling supply plan with suppliers and internal stakeholders
Coordinate with demand team to incorporate supplier constraints in the forward looking demand forecast plan
Hold quarterly Business reviews with suppliers and internal stakeholders to ensure we are on track with the agreed plans. Highlight and drive corrective actions, where necessary
Monitoring and Reporting:
Ability to build and manage reporting of service level dashboards
Ability to use multiple systems like Looker and Tableau to derive relevant data sets and prepare key reports
KPI Accountability:
Supplier Fill Rate, Supplier On Time Delivery, Supplier OTIF %
What Did We Order?
You have at least 2-5 years of experience in F&V
solid knowledge of all DC operations, inventory control and basic finance knowledge
You are someone energized by the unknown and look forward to learning each day on the job
Good communication skills and always like to be hands-on with several tools
Additionally, you have robust interpersonal and intercultural skills
Language Skills: Very Good English would be highly advantageous
Computer Skills : Very Good in Excel, ERP System
Should Have Quality and Food Safety Related certificate
Skills Required
- 2-5 years of experience in Fruits & Vegetables (F&V)
- Knowledge of distribution center (DC) operations, inventory control, and basic finance
- Experience implementing S&OP cycles and supplier supply planning
- Experience managing supplier fill rate, on-time delivery, and OTIF metrics
- Ability to build and manage service level dashboards and reports
- Proficiency with Excel and ERP systems
- Ability to use Looker and Tableau to derive datasets and prepare reports
- Quality and Food Safety related certificate
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and intercultural skills
- Very good English (language skills highly advantageous)
