MUFG is seeking an Associate Relationship Manager to join their Manila team. What you'll do:

As an Associate Relationship Manager at MUFG in Manila, you will shape customer strategies aligned with branch objectives. Your responsibilities include identifying business opportunities, negotiating terms with clients, and crafting tailored financial solutions. You will build strong customer relationships through effective communication, guide them through transactions, and ensure regulatory compliance. Collaborating with internal teams, you’ll help deliver seamless service experiences while managing transaction records and documentation with precision.

  • Develop and discuss customer strategies and annual targets with team heads and department heads based on branch objectives, ensuring alignment with overall business goals.
  • Identify target accounts and transactions by scanning relevant markets, contributing to the branch’s strategic growth initiatives.
  • Negotiate rates, fees, terms, and conditions of credit accommodations with clients while ensuring required margins are applied to all relevant transactions.
  • Evaluate customers’ financial requirements and capacity, proposing tailored financial solutions and packages that best meet their needs.
  • Maintain strong communication with customers to fully understand their needs, providing guidance on transactions and documentary requirements.
  • Promote a range of banking products and services through regular customer visits aimed at achieving set targets.
  • Conduct thorough know-your-customer processes in strict accordance with bank policies and regulatory procedures.
  • Collaborate closely with operations groups and other support departments to ensure timely delivery of services to customers.
  • Partner with product-related departments for promotional activities that drive business growth.
  • Ensure accurate recording of transactions into the bank’s data systems while managing proper documentation and safekeeping of customer documents.
