We’re Looking For A(n): Associate Quality Control (QC) Technician, Video

Location: Hybrid (El Segundo, CA and/or Burbank/North Hollywood, CA)

What You’ll Be Doing: An Associate QC Technician is responsible for ensuring the technical accuracy and overall quality of video content produced, processed, or distributed by Golden Pet Brands. In this role, you will perform rigorous checks on video files, identifying and flagging any technical issues or errors that could affect the content's presentation or user experience. Additionally, you will support the Video Department with consistent and accurate updates to various spreadsheets and file servers.

  • Review various short- and long-form video creatives, identifying errors to enhance split-testing outcomes.
  • Organize assets, create metadata, and conduct regular checks on video servers and file storage.
  • Update Google Suite documents and spreadsheets for Video Team workflow efficiency; familiarity with JIRA and/or Zapier is beneficial.
  • Incorporate lessons from past projects to take responsibility for improving future creative endeavors.
  • Leverage AI tools to improve processes and delivery timelines, stay current with emerging AI capabilities and incorporate them into the QC workflow

  • Required Education: High School Diploma
  • Preferred Education: Some College
  • Required Experience: 

    • 1 year of Project Management software experience (ie: JIRA).
    • Familiarity with data management and efficient workflows.
    • Well-versed in English grammar + spelling.
  • Preferred Experience: 

    • 1 year of Quality Control experience.
    • Experience for Lifestyle, Health, Skincare, and/or Pet brands.

The base salary range is $22.74-$30.34, plus bonus potential.

The posted salary range in this job posting reflects data based on California's cost of labor analysis. This salary range is subject to change per state; please click here to find the pay differential in your state of residence if the role is remote. 

Salary is based on a wide range of factors that include relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications, and geographical location.
