The Opportunity:
Avantor is looking for an Associate for the Quotes Management team. It's an entry-level position. The associate will play a crucial role in supporting our sales team and customers by creating and managing quotations. You will assist with various inquiries and ensure that our customers receive accurate and timely quotes.
What we’re looking for
Education: Bachelor's/Master's in Life Science.
Experience: 0 – 1 years of experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
Demonstrated ability to be a strong team player.
Excellent organizational skills.
Proficiency in relationship building is essential.
How will you thrive and create an impact:
Provide first-line technical information relating to our product range to customers via a hotline or email. Incoming enquiries are divided between team members to make best use of technical knowledge and experience, but a willingness to expand that knowledge and tackle enquires of a variety of natures.
To maximise the opportunity to achieve sales through the supply of technical assistance;
Providing product specifications and application support
Checking product compatibility
Identifying products based on application of end user
Suggesting alternatives to unavailable products
Up selling of products and services where possible
Maintain a database of supplier product information, specification and
certificates.
Build a relationship with NA based sales staff and customer service associates
to ensure continuity of service provided.
Ability to produce results in a pressurized environment, within agreed service
levels and the ability to follow through on all commitments.
