POSITION DETAILS:
TITLE: QA Analyst
LOCATION: Remote, in Portugal
DEPARTMENT: Software Engineering
REPORTS TO: QA Team Leader
POSITION SUMMARY:
We are looking for a detail-oriented QA Analyst to ensure the delivery of high-quality software products. This role involves developing and executing test plans, identifying defects, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance product quality. A strong understanding of QA methodologies and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team are essential for success in this role.
YOUR DAY-TO-DAY:
- Develop detailed test plans and test cases based on software requirements and technical specifications.
- Execute manual testing across various platforms, browsers, and mobile devices.
- Identify, record, and track defects using issue tracking tools.
- Collaborate closely with developers, business analysts, and product managers to ensure thorough testing coverage and timely delivery of quality products.
- Perform regression testing and verify bug fixes during software releases.
- Contribute to the improvement of QA processes and methodologies, ensuring best practices are followed.
WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TEAM:
- 1+ years of experience in manual software testing.
- Solid understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
- Experience with test management tools (e.g., Jira, X-Ray) is preferred.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (preferred).
