Associate Project Manager is responsible for managing the project management lifecycle for high-priority projects, which often require considerable resources and high levels of functional integration.
This individual will partner with others across the enterprise to ensure consistency of all applications integral to the organization as well as the departmental processes and procedures.
Essential Tasks:
- Serves as a project manager for high-priority projects
- Identifies and assembles the appropriate blend of resources to meet project needs and requirements.
- Fosters and champions an environment that promotes trust, self-development, continuous improvement, innovation and quality outcomes.
- Ensures a consistent level of quality, accuracy, compliance to state and federal regulations, and internal controls.
- Leads the development of project requirements and scope; establishes appropriate metrics for measuring successful delivery of the projects.
- Engages with project teams, business partners and stakeholders frequently on the status of key initiatives with respect to scope, schedule, cost, and resources.
- Coaches and counsels members of cross-functional teams to accomplish project goals, meet deadlines, and resolve technical/operational issues.
- Administers the project change process when needed, formulating contingency plans to address schedule revisions, risks, costs, and scope.
- Maintains awareness of industry trends, practices, techniques and emerging technologies related to the project management discipline.

- Proven experience and knowledge of the discipline of project management including common principles, methodologies and tools used by practitioners.
- Manage all aspects of a project life cycle
- Ensure all projects are completed in alignment with time, cost and quality parameters initially established
- Proficient in process improvement and development practices
- Experience with business case preparation, cost benefit analysis and project execution.
- Advanced knowledge and experience with PPM software tool.
- Experience using Agile/Scrum methodologies preferred.

- 5-8 years of project management and related experience
