This Position reports to:

Your role and responsibilities

Join us as Associate Project Manager for the Electrification Business Area where you will be leading the execution of small & medium sized projects with various complexity and ensures that all related activities are executed in accordance with company procedures, relevant cybersecurity regulations and standards, contract specifications, quality standards, Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) requirements, cost/profitability targets, and scheduling targets.

This role is contributing to the Electrification Distribution Solution Business (Medium Voltage) based in Petaling Jaya, Malaysia.

You will be mainly accountable for:

• Leading the project team, establishing the project execution approach, and overseeing planning, monitoring and control activities to accomplish all project goals.

• Managing project progress, efficient resource utilization, and project financials.

• Identifying, qualifying, quantifying, managing project risk, and ensuring all opportunities are identified and pursued.

• Collaborating with Supply Chain Management to successfully procure required services, materials, and equipment for the projects.

• Stepping up as the key contact for customer escalation on project issues, building and maintaining strong relationships as well as effective communications with internal and external stakeholders.

• Ensuring the project execution plan complies with company health, safety, and environmental policies.

• Driving the formal acceptance of the project, final documentations, contract close-out, and acknowledgment by the customer, all in accordance with the contract.

Qualifications for the role

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.

• More than 4 years of Project Management experience in Electrical Distribution, Medium Voltage.

• Preferred with experience in MV Switchgears, Compact Substations for Data Centers or Oil & Gas industries.

• Proficient in MS Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Project. Familiar with SAP, BGs, LCs, Fx hedging, incoterms.

• Resourceful, independent, collaborative, analytical, solutions driven & growth mindset.

• Fluent in English & Bahasa Malaysia (written & spoken).
