The Associate Technical Project Manager supports the planning, coordination, and delivery of technology-enabled transformation initiatives across Financial Crime Compliance, Fraud Prevention, AML, KYC, Sanctions, Analytics, and AI solutions.

In this client-facing role, you will partner with project managers, consultants, solution architects, product, engineering, R&D teams, and client stakeholders to help deliver complex technology implementation outcomes. This is an exciting opportunity for a proactive project professional with strong technical curiosity, solid IT foundations, and the ability to connect business objectives with platform delivery, integrations, APIs, analytics, testing, and deployment activities.

Responsibilities

  • Support the execution of technology implementation projects and workstreams across multiple initiatives, with a focus on platform, analytics, AI, compliance, fraud prevention, and financial crime technology solutions.
  • Maintain project plans, schedules, milestones, governance documentation, and action trackers to support timely and high-quality delivery.
  • Coordinate activities across delivery, product, engineering, R&D, client teams, and other internal or external stakeholders, as appropriate.
  • Track project progress against established timelines, milestones, and deliverables, and help ensure follow-through on key technical and business actions.
  • Assist in identifying, documenting, and escalating project risks, issues, dependencies, and implementation blockers.
  • Work closely with technical teams to track implementation activities, system integrations, data workflows, analytics requirements, APIs, platform delivery milestones, testing cycles, and deployment readiness.
  • Support workshop logistics, training sessions, and stakeholder meetings to drive alignment toward defined business and technical outcomes.
  • Help facilitate workshops by supporting clear agendas, tracking decisions, managing follow-ups, and keeping participants focused on meeting objectives.
  • Prepare and support executive and management reporting materials, including project status updates, RAID logs, milestone tracking, and delivery communications.
  • Assist with stakeholder communications and help ensure clear, professional written and verbal alignment across project participants.
  • Support testing, deployment, user acceptance testing, and business readiness coordination to help ensure smooth implementation.
  • Assist with change management activities to support adoption and successful delivery of technology solutions.
  • Contribute to the development and continuous improvement of project management templates, delivery standards, methodologies, reporting tools, and accelerators.
  • Support lessons learned activities and identify opportunities to improve delivery processes, coordination practices, and technical implementation governance.
  • Complete all assigned, mandatory training within the timeframe provided.
  • Conduct and/or participate in regularly scheduled 1:1 meetings with your direct manager and/or direct reports.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required in Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Analytics, Engineering, Business Technology, or a related technical field.
  • Master’s degree in Information Systems, IT, AI, Data Analytics, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
  • Customer-facing project management experience, ideally in consulting, technology delivery, IT project management, platform implementation, or transformation environments.
  • Strong technical understanding of IT implementation lifecycles, including requirements gathering, solution design, configuration, integration, testing, deployment, and post-go-live support.
  • Working knowledge of SQL, databases, data flows, APIs, system integrations, technical workflows, and platform-based delivery.
  • Understanding of software development concepts, including code logic, development lifecycles, release coordination, testing cycles, and defect tracking.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodology and the ability to work effectively in iterative, fast-moving delivery environments.
  • Ability to collaborate with technical teams, solution architects, product teams, engineering, R&D, business stakeholders, and client teams to drive clarity and execution.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and French required, with the ability to engage professionally with customers, internal stakeholders, and technical teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to facilitate or support workshops, including defining objectives, guiding discussions, documenting decisions, managing follow-ups, and driving alignment toward meeting goals.
  • Experience supporting project governance, reporting, status updates, action tracking, issue escalation, and delivery coordination.
  • Proactive, solution-focused mindset with the ability to analyze challenges, support problem-solving, and help move projects forward.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail, structured documentation, and high-quality execution.
  • Comfortable working in fast-paced, transformation-focused environments where business needs and technical delivery must stay closely aligned.
  • Interest in Financial Crime Compliance, Fraud Prevention, AML, KYC, Sanctions, Analytics, or AI-related solutions is a plus.
  • Agile certification or related training preferred.
  • Development skills or prior hands-on exposure to software development concepts preferred.
