Key Responsibilities
- Project set up and maintenance (rate table, budgets, contract management)
- Ensure all invoices are recorded properly and timely to the correct projects, cost reports, and phase codes
- Process AP vouchers
- Assist with AR cash collection
- Create accurate and timely project reporting
- Investigate and resolve any discrepancies or issues
- Cost Analysis and Cost control (ownership and initiative for work performed)
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting
- 0-2 years of experience in an accounting centric role
- Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
- Strong analytical skills and problem solving
- Have good to great organizational skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office products and programs
- Have a team player mindset with the ability to communicate proficiently in written and verbal forms
- Have good to great organizational skills
- Advanced degree(s)
- Experience within Engineering, commercial construction or a related industry
- Working knowledge of construction accounting principles
- Experience with subcontract agreements and lien waivers
- Knowledge of Deltek’s VantagePoint or Vision software
- Past accounting related internships
