Design and revise course curriculum to align with industry trends and academic standards.
Mentor and supervise undergraduate and postgraduate students in their academic pursuits.
Research and Scholarly Activity:
Conduct innovative research in Legal Studies, leading to publications in reputed journals and conferences.
Secure external research funding and collaborate with industry partners to address contemporary challenges.
Supervise research projects and guide students in their research endeavors.
Academic Leadership and Administration:
Provide leadership in the development and enhancement of academic programs within the department.
Participate in academic committees and contribute to institutional governance.
Mentor junior faculty members and support their professional growth.
Community Engagement and Outreach:
Engage in outreach activities to promote Legal education and research to the broader community.
Foster collaborations with other academic institutions, industry partners, and professional bodies.
Contribute to the advancement of the field through participation in conferences, workshops, and seminars.
Requirements
A Masters degree in Law or a related field with 55% minimum marks or from a recognized institution.
A Ph.D. in Law or a related field from a recognized institution.
A minimum of 08 years of teaching and research experience in higher education including 02 years of experience post PhD, with a focus on emerging trends in Legal Studies.
Evidence of scholarly achievements, including a minimum of 07 research publications in UGC approved journals and a total research score of 75.
Experience in curriculum development and course delivery at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a commitment to academic excellence and student success.
Skills Required
