As an Associate Product Manager, you will join a team that works diligently to understand and solve our customers’ most challenging problems. We're hiring across all of our teams, including AI Platform, Genie, Machine Learning, Unity Catalog, Databricks SQL, ETL, Streaming, and EDA. As part of our 2027 APM cohort, you will have a dedicated manager and mentor as well as connect with product managers, engineers, designers, account teams, other interns, and leaders from across the company.
We are hiring for San Francisco, CA, Mountain View, CA, and Bellevue, WA.
The impact you will have:
- Deeply understand customer problem space and establish the rails for viable solution space
- Prototype and test early ideas with customers and engineers to validate direction before the team commits to a build
- Work with engineers and designers to ship features on the Databricks platformWork with a team to build features for the Databricks platform
- Own your project end-to-end — design, build, launch, and iterate on feedbackManage your project end-to-end, including design, code, launch and feedback
- Build with scale, quality, and security in mind from day oneLearn about building a platform that scales quickly while maintaining quality and security
What we look for:
- You will graduate in Fall 2026 or Spring 2027 with a bachelors or masters degree in computer science or related engineering practice
- Pursuing a bachelor's or master's in computer science or a related engineering field
- You've used AI tooling for both personal productivity and development projects
- You have some first hand experience with SQL and/or Python
- You're hands-on and learn by doing — happy to build, test, and iterate your way to an answer
- You use analytical skills to make data-driven decisions (e.g. analyzing product usage)
- You can make complex topics simple and communicate nuance to partners (engineers, customers, field) in both written and verbal form
- You're excited to solve ambiguous problems with a collaborative team
- You stay curious and keep learning, whether it's a new technology, a customer's domain, or a corner of the product you haven't touched

The pay range(s) for this role is listed below and represents the expected salary range for non-commissionable roles or on-target earnings for commissionable roles. Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to job-related skills, depth of experience, relevant certifications and training, and specific work location. Based on the factors above, Databricks anticipates utilizing the full width of the range. The total compensation package for this position may also include eligibility for annual performance bonus, equity, and the benefits listed above.
