Position Purpose
As a Associate Product Manager (AI Team), GenAI Intake & Governance, you will support the evaluation, onboarding, governance, and adoption of AI initiatives across GPC. You will work closely with business stakeholders, product teams, legal, security, and engineering teams to ensure GenAI use cases are properly documented, assessed, prioritized, and progressed through the intake process.
In this role, you will help maintain visibility of the GenAI portfolio, coordinate cross-functional reviews, support learning and adoption initiatives, and contribute to the successful implementation of AI solutions that create measurable business value. You will also help business stakeholders understand AI governance requirements, identify opportunities for responsible AI adoption, and promote effective use of approved AI solutions across the organization.
Responsibilities
Intake & Assessment
Serve as a primary contact for business stakeholders submitting AI requests and use cases.
Facilitate discovery discussions to understand business objectives, expected benefits, risks, and success criteria.
Review incoming requests and ensure required information is documented and available for evaluation.
Support prioritization activities by gathering information related to business value, complexity, dependencies, and implementation effort.
Provide guidance on intake requirements, governance expectations, and AI best practices.
Governance Coordination
Coordinate AI governance activities across Legal, Security, Privacy, Architecture, Product, and other relevant stakeholders.
Support assessment of new AI use cases and third-party AI solutions.
Track approvals, decisions, action items, risks, and dependencies throughout the evaluation process.
Ensure initiatives meet governance requirements and organizational standards before implementation.
Contribute to continuous improvement of governance frameworks, processes, and documentation.
Portfolio Operations
Maintain portfolio records, dashboards, and operational reporting.
Monitor intake demand, initiative status, and portfolio metrics.
Support preparation of portfolio reviews, leadership updates, and executive reporting materials.
Assist with planning, forecasting, backlog management, and prioritization activities.
Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency and stakeholder experience.
Learning & Adoption
Support AI learning and adoption initiatives across GPC.
Coordinate workshops, office hours, training sessions, and awareness activities.
Develop and maintain user guidance, learning materials, and process documentation.
Partner with stakeholders to promote effective and responsible use of approved AI solutions.
Gather feedback and adoption insights to support continuous improvement of AI programs and user experience.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, Information Systems, Project Management, or a related field.
5+ years of experience in project management, business analysis, product support, portfolio management, process improvement, or a related role.
Experience coordinating work across multiple stakeholders and teams.
Strong organizational and prioritization skills with attention to detail.
Ability to gather, analyze, and document business requirements.
Strong communication and presentation skills.
Analytical mindset with the ability to translate information into actionable recommendations.
Experience working in an Agile environment.
Proficiency with Jira, Confluence, Excel, PowerPoint, and collaboration tools.
Interest in AI, emerging technologies, and digital transformation.
Knowledge of Generative AI, governance, compliance, or risk management practices is a plus.
Experience supporting learning, adoption, enablement, or change management initiatives is a plus.
Experience in retail, supply chain, or technology organizations is a plus.
