JOB DESCRIPTION

FOX News Media is looking for an exceptional Associate Producer to join the new weekend program, The Sunday Briefing, airing Sundays at 11 AM, ET. As the Associate Producer, you will work hand in hand with the top White House Correspondents in the industry, pitching compelling story ideas, securing top-tier guests, and collaborating with the rest of the show team. As Associate Producer, you have excellent judgement and knowledge of national politics. You write with urgency, style, brevity, and deliver substantial news in a highly produced environment while quickly turning around breaking news.

You will be offered the following shift: Wednesday—Sunday. 

A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Research and select video clips and graphic elements to help devise informative guest segments

  • Build graphics and lower thirds that help emphasize and enlighten the viewer

  • Spearhead social media for The Sunday Briefing, including our webpage and Twitter feed

  • Edit VOs and Soundbites for air, package prouducing taped interviews and field pieces

WHAT YOU NEED:

  • Bachelor's degree in journalism or related field of study preferred, or equivalent experience

  • 2+ years of television news experience

  • Strong interest in national politics and entertainment, including an interest in the White House beat

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, multitask, and prioritize daily, especially in breaking news situations

  • Strong communication and writing skills

  • Experience with iNews and Viz systems

Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the pay rate/range for this role, with final offer amount dependent on education, skills, experience, and location is $67,000.00-70,000.00 annually. This role is also eligible for various benefits, including medical/dental/vision, insurance, a 401(k) plan, paid time off, and other benefits in accordance with applicable plan documents. Benefits for Union represented employees will be in accordance with the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
