ABOUT THE JOBThe Security Hardware Specialist will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and maintaining cutting-edge security systems for Anduril's facilities and operations. Reporting to the Security Systems & Infrastructure Manager, this position requires a highly skilled professional with a strong background in security technology, project management, and system integration. The ideal candidate will have the ability to bridge the gap between security requirements and technological solutions, ensuring the highest level of protection for Anduril's assets and personnel.
WHAT YOU’LL DO- Design and engineer comprehensive security systems, including access control, video surveillance, intrusion detection, and integrated security management platforms.
- Manage security system projects from conception to completion, including budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation.
- Conduct site surveys and risk assessments to determine appropriate security measures and technologies.
- Develop detailed system specifications, architectural drawings, and technical documentation for security installations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure security systems integrate seamlessly with IT infrastructure and other relevant systems.
- Evaluate and recommend new security technologies and products to enhance Anduril's security posture.
- Manage and coordinate with vendors, contractors, and integrators throughout the implementation process.
- Troubleshoot complex technical issues and provide advanced support for security systems.
- Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) for security system operations and maintenance.
- Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards, regulations, and company policies in all security system designs and implementations.
- Provide technical training and support to security personnel and end-users on new systems and technologies.
- Conduct regular system audits and vulnerability assessments to identify areas for improvement.
- Stay current with emerging trends and advancements in security technology and apply this knowledge to continuously improve Anduril's security infrastructure
- 5+ years of experience in designing and implementing enterprise-level security systems
- Strong knowledge of security technologies including access control, video surveillance, intrusion detection, and integrated security management systems
- Proven experience in project management, including budgeting and resource allocation
- Proficiency in CAD software for creating system designs and architectural drawings
- Experience with IP networking and IT infrastructure as it relates to security systems
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel as needed
- Ability to obtain and maintain relevant security clearances
- Must be a U.S. Person due to required access to U.S. export controlled information or facilities
- Experience with cloud-based security solutions and IoT devices
- Knowledge of AI and machine learning applications in security systems
- Familiarity with NIST cybersecurity framework and other relevant standards
- Experience in a defense or high-tech industry setting
- Exposure to UL 2050 considerations for US Government Classified programs
The salary range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors, inclusive of base salary only. Actual salary offer may vary based on (but not limited to) work experience, education and/or training, critical skills, and/or business considerations.
