The Associate, Procurement/Supplier Management will support the procurement and sourcing team, manage accounts payable processes, and oversee third-party risk management initiatives.  This role will be based in our Nashville, TN office on a hybrid basis. 

What You Will Do: 

  • Assist in the Sourcing and Procurement of existing and new vendor engagements. Assist and collaborate with legal dept for processing and review of third-party agreements.

  • Assist with Accounts Payable processes, including due diligence. Research, and report generation. 

  • Assist in managing new vendor set up/requests.

  • Providing assistance to offshore team and to assist in tracking of key performance metric.  

  • Assist in day-to-day project work as needed.

  • Develop new or analyze current reports and identify areas for improvement .

  • Act as a resource for resolving complex inquiries.  

  • Work with Regulatory Filing and Accounts Payable teams on processing payments for State Fees and Assessments.

  • Support internal and regulatory audits, operational enhancement projects, and other ad hoc requests as required.

  • Support Fortitude Re management in compiling and consolidating data to build analytical reports for corporate management and staff.

  • Assist with solution strategies for business requirements, enhancement requests and defect fixes. Identify, develop and deliver business and technical solutions to customer satisfaction.

  • Assist with managing portfolio of sourcing engagements, track savings and spend vs. contracts.  

  • Build effective working relationships with stakeholders and ensure execution of commitments. 

What You Will Have: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, Information Technologies, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field. 

  • 1-3 years of relevant work experience.

  • Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; SQL and Coupa experience a plus. 

  • Ability to lead projects for departmental goals.

  • Highly motivated and driven.

  • Strategic and analytical problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to work at a fast pace and/or handle shifting priorities.

  • Ability to learn/adapt to new technology.

  • Ability to deliver results under time pressure. 

  • Good mathematical, oral and written communication skills.

  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

  • Ability to understand processes in a larger context to look for improvements and efficiencies.

  • Ability to work with cross functional teams and manage stakeholder relationships.  

  • Understanding of business processes and applications, including opportunities for improvements and efficiencies. 

  • Strong customer facing skills, ability to influence and motivate internal/externals teams and vendor partners.

The base salary range for this role is listed below and will be commensurate with candidate experience. Pay ranges for candidates may differ based on the cost of labor in that location. In addition to base salary, all employees are eligible for an annual bonus based on company and individual performance as well as a generous benefits package.  

Base Salary Range

$56,000$74,000 USD
