Associate – Procurement

Key Responsibilities:

• Create and process Purchase Requisitions (PRs) in the system on behalf of requesters
• Manage PR/PO creation for global locations (US, Philippines, UK, and Australia)
• Handle the procurement mailbox, addressing queries from both business stakeholders and vendors
• Process PO amendments as per business requirements with proper documentation and approvals
• Validate pricing documents/quotations before PR creation
• Coordinate with the contract team for contract creation, wherever applicable
• Ensure timely approval and processing of Purchase Orders (POs)
• Support vendor management activities, including onboarding, communication, and follow-ups
• Ensure correct GL coding and cost center allocation for all procurement transactions
• Track the PR to PO lifecycle and ensure timely closure
• Maintain accurate documentation and records for all procurement activities
• Assist in reviewing and maintaining contracts and agreements
• Ensure compliance with procurement policies and internal controls
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders for requirement clarification, issue resolution, and status updates
• Prepare MIS reports and procurement trackers as required

Required Skills & Knowledge:

• Good understanding of procurement processes (PR to PO cycle)
• Must have 2-3 years of relevant experience in procurement process
• Knowledge of GL coding, cost centers, and basic finance concepts
• Experience in vendor management and query handling
• Basic understanding of contracts and commercial terms
• Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP systems (SAP preferred)
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Effective communication and stakeholder management skills
