Key Responsibilities:
- Create and process Purchase Requisitions (PRs) in the system on behalf of requesters
- Manage PR/PO creation for global locations (US, Philippines, UK, and Australia)
- Handle the procurement mailbox, addressing queries from both business stakeholders and vendors
- Process PO amendments as per business requirements with proper documentation and approvals
- Validate pricing documents/quotations before PR creation
- Coordinate with the contract team for contract creation, wherever applicable
- Ensure timely approval and processing of Purchase Orders (POs)
- Support vendor management activities, including onboarding, communication, and follow-ups
- Ensure correct GL coding and cost center allocation for all procurement transactions
- Track the PR to PO lifecycle and ensure timely closure
- Maintain accurate documentation and records for all procurement activities
- Assist in reviewing and maintaining contracts and agreements
- Ensure compliance with procurement policies and internal controls
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders for requirement clarification, issue resolution, and status updates
- Prepare MIS reports and procurement trackers as required
Required Skills & Knowledge:
- Good understanding of procurement processes (PR to PO cycle)
- Must have 2-3 years of relevant experience in procurement process
- Knowledge of GL coding, cost centers, and basic finance concepts
- Experience in vendor management and query handling
- Basic understanding of contracts and commercial terms
- Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP systems (SAP preferred)
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Effective communication and stakeholder management skills
