Tag Specialist
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in QA testing of web analytics implementations using Adobe Analytics.
- Validate basic tracking such as page views, clicks, form submissions, and custom events across websites.
- Support QA and debugging of tags deployed through Adobe Launch, Ensighten, or similar tag management tools.
- Verify data layer values, context data, eVars, props, events, and classifications against tracking requirements.
- Check data accuracy across different environments (DEV, QA, UAT, PROD).
- Identify tracking issues and report findings to senior team members.
- Support validation activities after site releases, enhancements, or tagging changes.
- Work closely with developers and analytics teams to help resolve tracking issues.
- Maintain basic QA documentation, test cases, and validation checklists.
- Follow analytics governance and compliance guidelines, especially for banking websites.
Required Skills & Experience
- 2-4 year of experience or strong internship exposure in Web Analytics or Tag QA.
- Good Communication.
- Basic understanding of Adobe Analytics concepts.
- Familiarity with at least one Tag Management System (Adobe Launch, Ensighten).
- Basic knowledge of JavaScript-based tracking and data layers.
- Exposure to browser debugging tools (Adobe Experience Platform Debugger, Chrome DevTools).
- Willingness to learn modern tagging approaches such as Web SDK.
- Good communication skills and attention to detail.
Nice to Have
- Introductory exposure to Adobe Experience Platform (AEP).
- Awareness of privacy, consent management, and data compliance concepts.
- Exposure to banking or financial services websites or projects.
