Position Description
The Associate will be involved in private equity investments for CLSA’s USD GP “CLSA Capital Partners” with a 5 billion USD AUM. Responsible for supporting growth private equity investment in Japan Market, in the Smart Manufacturing and TMT industry.
Key Areas of Responsibilities
- Information collection and analysis. Gather information in support of understanding and analyzing a particular industry and/or a targeted company from public/private sources, analyze information in depth and summarize the findings to support team’s deal proceeding
- Documentation preparation. Participate in due diligence, prepare internal investment review documents, support team to develop financial analysis including valuation models
- Assist in portfolio company monitoring
- Support team’s other daily work
Requirements
- Bachelor or above degree in Finance and Business majors preferred
- 1-5 working experience in PE investment or relevant sector in Japan
- Strong ability on financial analysis and paperwork, familiar with Microsoft Office/Capital IQ/Bloomberg
- Bilingual proficiency in Japanese and English
