Provide Consumer Science related support to Mondelēz global legal entities, per service agreements. This includes the biscuit and baked snacks category but may also include support to multiple regions and categories as organization priorities dictate This is an individual contributor role.
The role contributes to the planning and implementation of assigned research programs/projects that lead to actionable business results. The role requires work under a high degree of autonomy to plan and conduct independent projects as a fully engaged cross-functional partner interacting with senior leaders as required to align and deliver on research objectives.
How you will contribute
You will support projects or programs (including research design) to meet objectives, produce quality, actionable data and make recommendations to ensure the projects or programs are completed to the required standards and within the agreed to timetables. In this role, you will help develop departmental plans and budgets in line with corporate requirements, direct qualitative and quantitative consumer research, ensure there is a consumer-centric approach to all programs and projects, and partner with stakeholders (including R&D and commercial/insights) to secure resources. You will also manage and coach staff to help them understand consumer science and hone their critical thinking and problem-solving skills.

A desire to drive your future and accelerate your career and the following experience and knowledge:• Responsible for research to deliver Beyond the Core (BTC) innovations (transformational, adjacencies, some geo-expansions) as well as foundational/exploratory learning as MDLZ considers entering new categories or new category-country combinations. Utilizes innovation excellence principles to unlock insights that drive growth• Lead and conduct single or multistage large programs/projects, delivering to the required standards and agreed timescales, including designing research to meet objectives, to produce good quality, actionable data, interpreting results, reporting/presenting findings, making recommendations and contributing to decision making.• Lead all aspects of consumer research both qualitative and quantitative including the integration/linking of descriptive and consumer data into a cohesive story.• Strong qualitative research background in foundational, strategic and white spaces.• Desire to explore new tools and methodologies: experimentation mindset to find the best way to unlock consumers insights• Lead category appraisal and DOE studies including the statistical principles applied as part of the overall research plan.• Understands and applies multivariate statistical methods to gain deeper understanding and insights from research conducted when appropriate.• Lead the execution of CAD (Consumer Aided Design) work including leading the design of the research program and all executional elements including Knowledge Mapping, Value Diagramming, Product Labs and subsequent analysis and reporting of results.• Effectively partner with stakeholders (R&D and Commercial / Insights) ensuring that the work is in line with the strategic priorities of the business.• Assumes leadership role on cross-functional teams and interfaces with all levels of the organization.• Seeks improvement on existing methods in line with good scientific principles.• To provide support to the Consumer Science management team by role modelling leadership behaviors and deputizing for line manager as required.• Look for opportunities to provide informal coaching and to share experience with more junior colleagues.• Proactively seeking ways to improve all aspects of the department, including functional methodologies, practical solutions and facilities and presenting these ideas in an appropriate way to the Consumer Science management team.• Contribute to CS Team goals by participating on teams where new methodologies and capability are evaluated, proposed and implemented.• Ensure two-way communication between yourself and other team members.

Salary and Benefits:
The base salary range for this position is $109,000 to $149,875; the exact salary depends on several factors such as experience, skills, education and location. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for participation in a highly competitive bonus program with possibility for overachievement based on performance and company results. In addition, Mondelez International offers the following benefits: health insurance, wellness and family support programs, life and disability insurance, retirement savings plans, paid leave programs, education related programs, paid holidays and vacation time. Some of these benefits have eligibility requirements. Many of these benefits are subsidized or fully paid for by the company.
