Job DescriptionThe Associate Pricing Manager will own and support the development and execution of commercial policies, pricing actions, and supply optimization initiatives for Allergan Aesthetics Italy & Greece. The role requires a strong blend of commercial thinking, analytical rigor, and cross-functional influence.
This is a highly visible role that requires someone who is comfortable working across functions, engaging with internal and external stakeholders, and turning commercial strategy into disciplined execution. The right candidate will be analytical, commercially curious, and able to challenge constructively while maintaining strong alignment and compliance.
Main Responsibilities:
Commercial Policies & Price Management
- Contribute to the development of route-to-market strategy in partnership with Sales and Trade leadership.
- Define and maintain commercial policies that support revenue growth and market share objectives.
- Review pricing and commercial policies regularly to ensure they remain competitive, effective, and aligned with business priorities.
- Manage gross-to-net pricing adjustments and support periodic pricing reviews across the portfolio.
- Identify and execute commercial initiatives to optimize the established brands portfolio.
- Ensure all pricing and commercial actions are compliant with internal policies, legal requirements, and International Trade approval standards
Supply Optimization
- Support supply optimization activities to ensure the domestic market is supplied in line with domestic consumption.
- Collaborate with Finance, Trade, and Supply Chain stakeholders to ensure customer classification and pricing terms are correctly applied.
- Ensure quotas and extraordinary orders are implemented efficiently and in line with approved legal processes.
- Support the development and monitoring of trackers, KPIs, and process improvements related to supply optimization.
- Work with international supply chain stakeholders to ensure efficient product flow while supporting customer satisfaction and forecast accuracy.
Customer, Channel, and Distributor Support
- Act as a main point of contact for selected customer-related topics, ensuring high service levels and timely resolution of issues.
- Maintain and support customer data, communication flows, and coordination with Master Data and third-party partners where needed.
- Track customer, pharmacy, and distributor performance against agreed commercial objectives.
- Support renegotiation, termination, or optimization of agreements that do not deliver intended business results.
- Identify opportunities to improve commercial execution and support business cases for new opportunities.
Background and Experience
- Degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field.
- Previous exposure in commercial policy development, pricing, trade, channel management, or commercial finance roles. At least four year of experience in one of these roles.
- Experience working in a cross-functional role with Sales, Finance, and Demand Planning, Regulatory, MA, and Supply teams.
- Strong understanding of commercial drivers, margin impact, and route-to-market dynamics.
- Experience in a matrixed, fast-moving environment is strongly preferred.
- Background in Commercial finance roles or Pricing from similar industry (Pharma) or retail in a multinational environment is preferred.
Technical / Professional Skills
- Strong analytical capability with the ability to interpret data and translate it into action.
- Solid financial understanding, particularly in pricing, gross-to-net, and commercial performance analysis.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office; advanced Excel skills are highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of English and Italian, both written and spoken.
