The Opportunity: Role Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and talented Associate Media Planner to join our dynamic team. The Media team is responsible for developing comprehensive omnichannel media campaigns to meet client goals. This individual will be instrumental in executing administrative and executional efforts, including status reports, traffic sheets, financials, research, planning/buying assistance, campaign management, and relationship building internally and with outside partners.

Key Responsibilities

Core Function:

  • Responsible for administrative and executional efforts including but not limited to status reports, traffic sheets, financials, research, planning/buying assistance, campaign management, and relationship building internally and with outside partners.
  • Responsible for the accurate completion of ad trafficking requests and QA.
  • Develops spec sheets based on approved media programs and manages creative tracker of approved assets, ensuring all parties complete it accurately.
  • Communicates regularly with internal counterparts across capabilities such as digital strategy, PM, account, creative, to share spec sheets, media plan program details, project status updates, etc.
  • Develops relationships with and serves as point of contact for media vendors for tasks relating to media planning, campaign performance, and financial management.

What You'll Bring: Required Qualifications

  • Education:
    • Bachelor's degree in digital marketing, marketing, business, or related field preferred.
  • Experience:
    • 1+ years relevant experience.

Specialized Knowledge:

  • Basic understanding of digital marketing and/or media landscape.
  • Competency in media math, financial terminology, and media buying terms and conditions.
  • Establishes basic knowledge of media research tools (audience insights, competitive creative/spend).
  • Establish basic knowledge of assigned brands (and category), media channels, and media planning/buying processes.
  • Basic agency inner workings and how media capability fits within all-service job flow.

Skills:

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • The ideal candidate is a self-starter who can step out of their comfort zone.
  • Team player, willing to build relationships across internal counterparts (such as digital strategy, account, PM, etc.) as well as with outside vendors.

Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have)

  • Desire to learn pharmaceutical brands (and category), media channels, and media planning/buying processes.

Skills Required

  • Bachelor's degree in digital marketing, marketing, business, or a related field
  • At least 1 year of relevant experience
  • Basic understanding of digital marketing and/or the media landscape
  • Competency in media math, financial terminology, and media buying terms and conditions
  • Basic knowledge of media research tools, audience insights, and competitive creative/spend
  • Knowledge of media channels and media planning and buying processes
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to build relationships with internal teams and outside vendors
