The Boeing Company is looking for an Associate Master Prod Scheduler to join our team in Smithfield, Pennsylvania.
This role will have overall material management for new and current production programs, including inputting schedule requirements from Customer requirements, and generating purchasing requests for purchasing.
The qualified candidate will work with the manufacturing engineer and production manager to assure that materials are available to facilitate timely execution of production. They will also maintain shipping and hardware status information for the team.
The ideal candidate will interface with Smithfield Material Requirements Planning (MRP) system and will manage hardware deliveries to finished goods inventory and shipments to Customer's purchase order schedule.
Position Responsibilities:
- Applies change and planning decisions to arrive at optimal solutions.
- Applies Supply chain Management (SCM) methodologies to ensure coordination in the supply chain.
- Coordinates with company customer support representatives, contract administration, purchasing, engineering, quality assurance, traffic, warehousing, suppliers and customers.
- Incorporates Bills of Material (BOM) and schedules into a production plan.
- Coordinates part number attributes.
- Verifies the released engineering BOM has been correctly implemented in the material planning system.
- Releases and maintains orders.
- Documents and resolves order delinquencies.
- Reports schedule adherence issues.
- Applies developed solutions to inventory plans.
- Analyzes and dispositions excess and obsolete inventories.
- Creates schedules for products and services.
- Coordinates and supports process improvements.
- Works under general supervision.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience utilizing scheduling systems and tools to create and maintain production schedule
- Experience extracting and compiling data from multiple sources
- Experience coordinating across multiple functions to set priorities, expedite and complete production activities
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- Associate's degree
- SI&OP (Sales, Inventory and Operations Planning)
- Experience working with supply chain and suppliers directly to ensure timely delivery of materials to support production needs
- Experience with project management

Summary Pay Range: $68,850 - $93,150
