The Boeing Global Services Government (BGS-G) Supplier Management Team has an opportunity for a Supplier Management Manager (Level K) positions within our organization supporting our Top Tier Contracting team. The selected candidate will be located in Ridley Park, PA.
Position Responsibilities:
- Oversight and coordination of a BGS-G Top Tier team. Responsibilities include terms and conditions, schedule adherence, and relationship building with several major Supplier partners.
- Post Award Supplier Performance - Oversight and coordination of Supplier Performance Management as well as open order management and Customer alignment for Transactional procurement for all BGS-G demands and customers.
- Manages, develops and motivates employees
- Provide subcontract support, supplier delivery performance and support for all program objectives.
- Acts as an authorized agent of the company with responsibility for managing all supplier- related activities and the authority to commit company resources through contracts and agreements.
- Coordinates with the larger BGS-G Supply Chain team (Forecasting, Planning, Order Execution) on proposal requirements, execution requirements and keeping programs and stakeholders informed on supplier status, issues, risks and opportunities.
- Develops and executes project and process plans, implements policies and procedures and sets operational goals.
- Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports.
- The identification and implementation of continuous improvement processes is also expected.
- Provides oversight regarding negotiation processes and related tools.
- Hold extensive knowledge of Supplier Management processes and procedures.
- Direct experience working with a variety of subcontract types under DoD prime contracts.
- Excellent negotiation and problem resolution skills are required.
- Occasional travel to other Boeing sites, Customer and suppliers (<10%).

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- Candidates must have at least one year of experience in leadership role (team leader, temp manager, large scale cross functional project/program management, or format manager experience) OR have completed the Boeing internal course "Exploring Leadership."
- 5+ years of experience working with Supplier Management, Supply Chain, and/or Procurement practices and processes
- 5+ years of Supplier Relationship Management (Experience managing supplier relationships.)

- Bachelor's Degree or higher in Business, Supply Chain, or related field
- Experience with Government procurement procedures and requirements (FARs/DFARs)
- Complex negotiation experience

- Proficient utilizing the Microsoft Office Suite
- Demonstrate analytical and problem solving skills
