- Provide day-to-day support for SAP and other business applications and ensure smooth system operations across all solar plants.
- Coordinate with SAP and application support partners for incident resolution, enhancement requests, and service delivery as per agreed SLAs.
- Act as the primary point of contact between business users, support partners, and IT teams for SAP and application-related issues.
- Support SAP modules and business applications used in manufacturing, warehouse, quality, maintenance, and finance functions.
- Maintain application availability, track recurring issues, and drive permanent resolutions.
- Support business users during system upgrades, testing activities, and new feature deployments.
- Coordinate integration activities between SAP and systems such as MES, WMS, Quality Systems, Traceability Solutions, and other plant applications.
- Assist in the implementation and support of digital initiatives, including MES, traceability, dashboards, analytics, and Industry 4.0 projects.
- Gather business requirements and work with implementation partners to deliver system improvements and new functionalities.
- Manage user access, application documentation, SOPs, and knowledge-transfer activities.
- Coordinate with vendors, OEMs, and internal stakeholders to ensure timely project execution and support.
- Monitor support performance, track open issues, and provide regular status updates to management.
- Ensure compliance with IT policies, cybersecurity guidelines, audit requirements, and organizational standards.
- Support internal and external audits related to SAP, applications, and digital systems.
Qualifications
- B.E./B.Tech in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics, Instrumentation, or related discipline.
- MCA or MBA (Systems) preferred.
- SAP certification will be an added advantage.
Experience
- 6–10 years of experience in SAP and business application support.
- Hands-on experience in coordinating SAP support partners and managing application support operations.
- Experience in manufacturing industries with exposure to SAP, MES, WMS, Quality Systems, or Traceability solutions.
- Experience in SAP integration projects and digital transformation initiatives.
- Knowledge of incident management, change management, testing (SIT/UAT), and vendor coordination.
- Exposure to Industry 4.0, Analytics, IoT, or digital manufacturing solutions will be preferred.
- Strong stakeholder management, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Skills Required
