What You Will Do -
The Associate Manager, Supply Planning partners with production, quality, and engineering to develop and execute supply plans that support both day-to-day operations and long-term growth. This role ensures the right product is available at the right time by aligning supply plans across plants and third-party suppliers.
- Develop and support end-to-end supply plans across plants and suppliers, translating demand into production and purchasing requirements
- Build and maintain master resource and capacity plans (up to 24-month horizon) to ensure material availability and identify risks or bottlenecks
- Analyze capacity constraints and underutilization, recommending actions to mitigate supply risks and optimize cost
- Start with ownership of a defined product scope, with ongoing coaching and expansion of responsibilities over time
- Partner with the Supply Planning Manager to set inventory targets (safety stock) based on demand variability and lead times
- Track execution of supply plans, proactively addressing backorders, risks, and performance gaps
- Manage product lifecycle planning, including new product introductions and phase-outs, and communicate updates to the business
- Support alignment between supply and demand through daily/weekly execution and monthly IBP processes
- Maintain accurate master data in planning systems to ensure reliable outputs
- Monitor and drive performance against key KPIs, including supply plan attainment, inventory health, capacity utilization, and backorders
- Identify root causes of performance issues and recommend sustainable improvements
Required –
- Bachelors degree
- 6+ years of manufacturing and or supply chain experience
- SAP or equivalent MRP experience
Preferred –
- Leadership experience or project management experience
$93,800 - $156,200 USD Annual
