Job DescriptionTypical Roles & Responsibilities of the position:
- Participate in commercial and market reviews, strategic studies, and business plan reviews.
- Design of commercial and financial analysis e.g. market sizing, market driver analysis, business model analysis, competitive benchmarking, etc
- Independently executing mid-sized research projects and taking ownership. Be actively involved in structuring the output and its delivery. Be responsible for design and quality of deliverables. Manage client communication through the projects
- Positively contributing to the firm's growth and reputation. Contribute to thought leadership and knowledge management to support practice development
- Supporting Manager/Director with business development initiatives, including bid proposal and management
Experience/ Skills
- Experience – 4 to 7 years in consulting, market research, syndicated research, or benchmarking products. Must have exposure (1–2 years) to subscription-based product businesses.
- Experience must include – Project delivery and team management
- Client Engagement – Act as the day-to-day client contact for smaller engagements. Support account managers / delivery leads in query handling for the designated module
- Product Enrichment – Contribute to product enrichment and innovation through process improvements, feedback collection, and competitive research.
- Solutions & Proposals – Provide inputs to proposal development and solution design for new opportunities, in collaboration with account managers.
- High problem-solving skills
- Strong numerical, analytical and strategic thinking skills - able to demonstrate how one supports the other - and sound commercial acumen
- Comfortable working to tight deadlines and demanding requirements
- Driven and ability to work independently
- Flexibility to adapt to a variety of different engagement types, working hours and work environments and locations
Education: MBA (Marketing / Finance / Strategy / Economics.) (Preferably from Tier-II/III B-School)
