The Role

The Associate Manager, Operational Effectiveness is responsibile for leading and supporting Lean initiatives that improve operational performance, drive efficiency, and strengthen problem-solving capabilities across Real World Solutions (RWS). Our RWS Lean team’s vision is to act as catalysts and cultivate a workplace where Lean thinking is second nature, inspiring more people to get trained and apply Lean. Together, we create lasting improvements that fuel innovation and better ways of working.
Responsibilities
As Associate Manager, Operational Effectiveness you will:

  • Support key strategic initiatives impacting the performance of the RWS Global Operations organization (Lean continuous improvement programs, financial & operational KPIs, internal stakeholders, automations, etc.)
  • Identify inefficiencies in core operational processes and guide teams in root cause analysis and solutioning
  • Lead and coach teams through Lean events (e.g., After Action Reviews, Kaizen workshops, problem – solving sessions)
  • Develop and deliver actionable recommendations based on data and team input
  • Track and report measurable impact of Lean initiatives (cost avoidance, cycle time reduction, quality improvements, etc.)
  • Prepare and/or deliver well-crafted presentations & communications to senior executive audiences and other stakeholder groups
  • Build strong working relationships with key stakeholders across departments and Business Units
  • Support ongoing business processes in accordance with team scope and R&R

Qualifications

  • 2-4 years’ experience in applying Lean/LSS and/or leading process improvement initiatives
  • Highly analytical, with ability to use the power of data combined with industry knowledge to develop insights that challenge and influence the business
  • Excellent organizational skills - structured approach and capable of managing competing priorities
  • Thrives in a fast-paced environment and able to match stakeholder expectations to urgently deliver exceptional results
  • Lean Six Sigma/Lean Green/Black Belt or equivalent experience preferred
  • Works effectively in a remote environment and across geographies & cultures
  • Demonstrates strong curiosity; always seeking new approaches and challenging the organization to new levels of success
  • Fluent in English
