As a Logistics Operations Associate Manager (Kits), you will join Stryker and play a key role in leading warehouse and kit operations in Istanbul.
Kit Service at Stryker ensures that complete, sterile sets of surgical instruments and implants are prepared, managed, and delivered on time to support hospital procedures.
Reporting to the Senior Manager of Operations, you will manage a strong team, ensure smooth daily operations, and support high service levels for customers. This role offers a great opportunity to grow your leadership skills and develop your career in a global company.
What You Will Do:
Devise the Loan Kit strategy for the country/region. This will require the provision of a detailed operational review of all processes, procedures, methods and tools to determine adequacy to meet the performance objectives of the department.
Lead a team of people across multiple sub-teams.
Manage effective communications with the team to deliver operational targets. Ensure issues are escalated and any required briefings are effectively delivered.
Collaboratively work to set specific and meaningful development goals and works with the team members to create individual development plans.
Take responsibility for and work in collaboration with other stakeholders to set and achieve departmental and divisional KPIs / objectives such as Kit Service levels, efficiency, quality & financial performance metrics.
Regularly review and provide input to the relevance of the KPI’s and make proposals for adjustments or additions to drive the right behaviors and actions in the team towards serving our customers.
Represent the kit operations team in local leadership team meetings and be accountable for all follow-up actions. May represent the kit operations team in business unit leadership meetings if needed.
What You Need:
Required:
B.S. degree in a relevant field.
Proficiency in English.
Minimum 8 years of experience in warehouse management, operations, Kit room or logistics including a customer-facing role with people management experience.
Proven expertise in ISO 9001 Quality Management systems and processes.
Proven track record in building and managing highly engaged operational teams and hitting operational KPIs.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.
Preferred:
Lean Six Sigma Qualification or have professional experience in leading lean projects.
Knowledge of PowerBI, PowerApp or other business analytics and Quality Management Systems (QMS) tools.
