Associate Manager, External Relations (1.5 year contract)

The Associate Manager, External Relations supports the development and execution of stakeholder engagement strategies to strengthen relationships with key external parties, including government, LegCo, community, and corporate stakeholders. The role contributes to advancing business priorities by preparing high-quality communication materials, supporting senior leadership, and providing analysis on public policy developments to inform decision-making and reputation management.

• Support stakeholder engagement strategies and maintain day-to-day liaison with government, LegCo, community, and institutional stakeholders
• Prepare board materials, business reports, presentations, executive speeches, and briefing notes
• Coordinate timely and professional responses to government and stakeholder enquiries
• Plan and execute stakeholder engagement activities, including meetings, visits, and events
• Monitor public policy, legislative, and community developments; provide analysis and insights on risks and opportunities
• Support cross-functional projects and external collaboration initiatives as required

• Bachelor’s degree in Public Affairs, Communications, Political Science, Journalism, or related disciplines
• Minimum 6 years of relevant experience in government relations, external affairs, corporate communications, public administration, or related fields
• Strong understanding of Hong Kong public policy landscape and stakeholder dynamics
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Chinese
• Strong analytical, organizational, and multitasking abilities
• High level of professionalism, judgment, and ability to handle sensitive matters
• Prior experience engaging with government or public bodies, exposure to regulated environments or large organizations, and knowledge of business operations or financial reporting as added advantage
