About the Role

The Associate Manager, Customer Support will serve Uber Freight by providing excellent customer communication. The Associate Managers’ operational expertise will help guide team members through problem resolution, proactively communicate service issues to appropriate channels, and will have a thorough understanding of the marketplace. The ideal candidate will use statistical data to drive efficiency as well as use Root Cause Analysis to improve business processes that meet customer satisfaction. This position will work at our office in Brea. 

What the Candidate Will Do

• Outline expectations and provide support to the team in understanding customer KPI requirements.
• Train, mentor, and manage team to ensure all company policies are adhered to
• Develop customer relationships meant to enrich the partnership between our organizations
• Continuously monitor financial risk levels within customer portfolios, including shipment volume, drop pools, accessorials, fuel, and account receivables/payables
• Review all charges for accuracy, validation, completeness, and approval prior to submission to accounting
• Quickly resolve problems and promptly return information for processing
• Manage the personal scheduling needs of team members with guidance from the Employee Handbook
• Strive for innovation and personal development through a dedication to continuous learning

Basic Qualifications

High School diploma or GED equivalent

• 2 years People Management experience and at least 3 years within Intermodal sector.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related field
• Minimum of 3 – 5 years of Operations experience
• Previous Supervisory experience 
• Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft and/or Google Tools
• Advanced Transportation knowledge including advanced geography and military time

  • California: The salary range for this role is $72,160 - $95,920 a year.
