We are currently looking to fill an Associate Manager, Cost Accounting position. In this role you will be responsible for various activities related to accounting for inventory, including inventory costing, inventory reserves, and project accounting in connection with the Company’s manufacturing.
As an Associate Manager-Cost Accounting, a typical day might include the following:

Ensure a systematic process for new standard costs to be established timely, efficiently, and accurately for the company’s clinical and commercial drug products

Develop process to capture, track, record, and report costs when manufactured products / inventory locations / business collaborations / contract manufacturing organizations added by our business needs.

Manage the quarterly inventory reserves process including working with accounting colleagues in Ireland, as well as members from supply chain, quality, and manufacturing to ensure accurate and complete reserves coverage.

Champion projects to achieve efficiencies and automation of processes and reports.

Reinvent reports to track inventory levels through the various components of the supply chain and help senior leaders to make inventory management decisions

Prepare account analyses and supporting schedules for management review in connection with monthly close

Develop KPI reporting process for historical and trending standard cost comparisons

Train and knowledge share with other team members on key Oracle analysis, set-ups, etc

Manage SOX internal control processes. Work directly with internal and external auditors

Analyze, reconcile, and prepare journal entries for inventory transactions

Support annual physical inventory program

To be considered for the Associate Manager, Cost Accounting position you must have a BS/BA in Accounting or related field with a minimum of 10+ years of cost accounting and/or general accounting experience. Experience in a manufacturing environment is required and experience in a biotech/pharmaceutical environment a plus. A CMA, CPA designation is preferred. Experience with Datawarehouse, Hyperion, PowerBI and/or Oracle OPM a plus.
