Associate Manager Controllership

Job Description:

• Ensure compliance to DXC rules and Policy & US GAAP 606/842

• Review customer arrangements for proper revenue recognition in accordance with company policy and revenue recognition accounting standards

• Assist in the negotiation of large deals and answering revenue questions

• Documenting revenue treatment for large transactions

• Working with controllership and auditors on acceptance of the revenue dispositions

• Provide revenue recognitions training to all stakeholders

• Provide strategic initiatives and other ad hoc projects to the company in the area of revenue assurance

• Support existing deals with Revenue Recognition queries

• Provide coaching to increase revenue recognition awareness

• Review and support updates to existing Services revenue policies and Accounting Manual

• Support global compliance control framework

• Coach and develop new joiners

Qualifications

Education and Experience

• First level university degree with a focus in business or economics; advanced degree or accounting certification (e.g., Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Master of Business Administration (MBA) preferred

• 8+ years of finance experience

• Experience in more than one finance function including Services

• Excellent understanding of accounting principles and financial analysis.
