What You Will Achieve
In this role, you will:
- Design, configure, and implement AVEVA PI System components including PI Server, PI Asset Framework (AF), PI Vision, and PI Interfaces/connectors.
- Integrate PI System with SCADA, DCS, PLCs, and other OT/IT systems.
- Ensure reliable data acquisition, validation, storage, and distribution across various platforms.
- Develop and maintain PI AF models and analytics to support business use cases.
- Design and deploy PI Vision dashboards for operations and management users.
- Perform system upgrades, patching, and troubleshooting for PI infrastructure.
- Support data governance, security, and quality standards across PI data flows.
- Troubleshoot data quality and connectivity issues within OI environments to minimize operational disruption.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Conduct periodic assessments to identify and implement system performance improvements.
- Provide training and documentation to end users and support staff.
- Participate in project planning, testing, and commissioning of PI-related solutions.
Here Is What You Need (Minimum Requirements)
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
6+ years of experience with AVEVA/OSIsoft PI System administration and development.
Proficiency in PI AF, PI Vision, PI Interfaces, and PI Data Archive.
Familiarity with industrial communication protocols (OPC, Modbus, etc.).
Experience in Regulated pharmaceutical industry
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Bonus Points If You Have (Preferred Requirements)
- AVEVA PI System certifications.
- Knowledge of analytics platforms or data historians.
- Relevant pharmaceutical experience
- Understanding of programming and proficiency in at least one language
- Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)
- Ability to train others effectively
- Strong problem-solving skills
