Associate Leturer - CSIT305 Emerging Information Technologies and their Applications (HE8)
This subject introduces students to emerging information technologies and their practical applications. Students will have a deep understanding of innovative technologies such as specialised processors, while also delving into modern software development practices (e.g., Agile and DevOps methodologies). It covers advanced networking technologies (e.g., 5G and IoT architectures) and examines contemporary data management and storage solutions (e.g., data warehousing and data lakes), emphasizing security, privacy, and big data applications. This subject will equip students with advanced knowledge of emerging information technologies and enhance their skills to appropriately choose and apply information techniques to resolve practical problems effectively.
Job Requirement
- A Ph.D or Master's Degree in a related discipline from a reputable university
- At least 2 years of relevant teaching experience at the tertiary level is preferred
- 5 years of relevant work experience will be an added advantage
- Applicant must be available to teach day classes or night classes or both day and night classes
