Essential Functions

  • Facilitate Agile Release Train (ART) events, including PI Planning, Scrum of Scrums, and System Demos.

  • Coordinate and manage dependencies across teams within the ART.

  • Ensure alignment of ART objectives with business goals and priorities.

  • Track and communicate ART progress, risks, and issues to stakeholders.

  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and collaboration within the ART.

  • Support and coach Scrum Masters, Product Owners, and other team members in Agile practices.

  • Manage and resolve impediments that may impact the ART’s progress.

    • Ensure compliance with regulatory and security requirements, especially in the payment domain.

    • Collaborate with other RTEs and stakeholders to ensure seamless integration and delivery.

Skills/technical knowledge

  • Education - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience). 

  • Certification - Certified SAFe Release Train Engineer or equivalent Agile certification is required; additional Agile certifications (such as SAFe, PMI-ACP) are a plus. 

  • Tools - Strong hands-on experience with Jira and Rally, with the ability to create custom dashboards, reports, and workflows. 

  • Experience - 

    • Minimum of 10 years of experience as a Scrum Master, with at least 2 years in a RTE role. 

    • Proven track record of successfully managing and delivering projects within an Agile framework. 

    • Excellent facilitation, coaching, and mentoring skills, with the ability to influence and guide team members and stakeholders. 

    • Strong communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences. 

    • Demonstrated problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues. 

    • Experience with scaled Agile frameworks (such as SAFe, LeSS) and managing multiple teams in a scaled environment. 

    • Knowledge of additional Agile tools (e.g., Confluence, VersionOne) is advantageous. 

    • Strong understanding of Agile frameworks, including SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework).

    • Experience with Agile tools such as Jira, Rally, or similar.

    • Knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and DevOps practices.

    • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and release management.

    • Excellent problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills.

    • Strong communication and leadership abilities.

    • Experience in the payment domain is a significant advantage.

    • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.


Minimum Qualification

Total Experience - 10-12 years relevant experience.

Software Engineering, Information Systems or other Technical degree; additional experience in lieu of degree will be considered
