Job Purpose: Associate Lead - Projects Mechanical is responsible for overseeing and executing mechanical projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations. This role involves coordinating with cross-functional teams, providing technical guidance, monitoring project timelines and budgets, and preparing progress reports. Regular site visits are conducted to assess project status and ensure quality.

Responsibilities

Project Execution:

Oversee the execution of mechanical projects, ensuring adherence to industry standards and regulations.

Team Coordination:

Work with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth project execution and integration of mechanical systems.

Technical Guidance:

Provide support and guidance to project team members to resolve technical issues.

Project Monitoring:

Track project timelines and budgets, ensuring goals are met.

Reporting:

Prepare and present project progress reports to senior management.

Site Visits:

Conduct regular site visits to assess project status and quality of work.

Site Inspections:

Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, address issues, and ensure mechanical work meets project standards.

Regulatory Compliance:

Ensure adherence to industry standards, regulatory requirements, and company health and safety policies.

Continuous Improvement:

Identify and implement initiatives to improve project efficiency and quality.

Digital mindset:

Champions a digital mindset within the organization to drive innovation and competitiveness. Keep up with digital and AI advancements to enhance business and maintain competitiveness.

Qualifications

Educational Qualification:

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.

Work Experience:

6-10 years of experience in managing mechanical packages of Data Centres/Heavy Infrastructure industry

Skills Required

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field

  • Proven experience overseeing mechanical project execution, schedules, and budgets
