Associate Judge (51128)

JOB SUMMARY: The Senior Associate Judge presides over cases as assigned by the Chief Judge to include civil, criminal, and juvenile cases.

RESPONSIBILITES:

• Conducts court proceedings as assigned and as needed
• Any other duties as assigned by the Chief Judge

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must possess a law degree and be a member in good standing of a recognized bar association
• Must have high moral character and integrity

REQUIREMENTS:

• Must be willing to submit to and pass the required background investigation based upon the nature of the position and any other applicable requirements. 
• Must be willing to submit to and pass drug testing as required in the Kiowa Tribe Human Resources Policies and Procedures. 
• Must not have been convicted of any felony offense.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORKING CONDITIONS:

• Lifting up to 10 pounds
• Sitting for long periods of time
