The Role
We are seeking an Associate IT Support Specialist to support and optimize our asset lifecycle processes using ServiceNow. This role will partner closely with IT, Onboarding, Procurement, and Operations teams to ensure accurate asset data, process efficiency, and compliance across hardware and software assets.
The ideal candidate has strong analytical skills, experience with ServiceNow and the ability to translate business needs into scalable system and process improvements.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day IT support with an emphasis on IT Asset Management (ITAM) operations, including the use of ServiceNow ITAM
- Support the end-to-end asset lifecycle, including requests, procurement, deployment, inventory tracking, maintenance, and device recovery or disposal
- Monitor and manage ServiceNow queues, triaging and resolving ITAM and support-related requests in accordance with SLAs and operational standards
- Coordinate and provision IT equipment for employee onboarding, ensuring devices are configured, delivered on time, and accurately tracked
- Assist in maintaining ITAM documentation, process guides, and training materials to support operational consistency and knowledge sharing
- Collaborate with ITAM and IT Support teams to identify process improvements and ensure compliance with asset management policies
Required Qualifications
- 1–2+ years of experience in IT support, IT asset management, or a related technical support role
- Familiarity with ServiceNow, including exposure to IT Asset Management (hardware and/or software)
- Basic understanding of the IT asset lifecycle and IT service management processes
- Experience following documented processes and assisting with updates to procedures or guides
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to communicate clearly with team members and end users
- Ability to work effectively with both technical teams and non-technical stakeholders
Nice To Haves
- Basic knowledge of ITIL concepts or IT service management best practices
- Exposure to ServiceNow or completion of related training or certifications
- Experience working in a fast-paced support or operational environment
