As an Investment Specialist Associate within our GFICC team in Asset Management, you will be responsible for supporting portfolio management desks, leveraging product and market expertise for client acquisition and retention, and ensuring the consistent accomplishment of organizational objectives.
Job Responsibilities
- Prepare strategy presentations covering performance, market value, analytics, portfolio characteristics, and holdings.
- Create customized client presentations for Investment Specialist review meetings.
- Analyze portfolios, including positioning, analytics, and performance results.
- Assist in preparing client performance reports and investment review materials, including commentaries on performance drivers.
- Support the preparation of various communications for clients and internal stakeholders.
- Monitor guidelines and adherence for internally and externally managed portfolios.
- Coordinate with Sales, Consultants, and RFP teams to address their requirements.
- Serve as an individual contributor, taking ownership of projects and driving them to successful completion.
- Collaborate closely with the global Investment Specialist team to provide comprehensive support.
Required qualifications, capabilities and skills
- At least 3 years of experience in financial markets.
- Strong understanding of Fixed Income and asset management business
- Strong quantitative and analytical skills, including data analysis and understanding data flows.
- Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Proactive and positive approach, with ability to learn concepts and procedures quickly.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong time management skills and ability to multi-task.
- Delivery-focused and detail-oriented, with a strong commitment to accuracy.
- Self-starter, able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Well-organized, with a focus on meeting deadlines.
- Proficient in Python, with previous coding experience
