About the role:
Core responsibilities will cover 3 key areas:
Own business data
-
Act as the data steward for the International team – support needs for all areas of the business, including reviews of marketing programs (web, performance media, email etc.), product performance and financial performance.

Identify appropriate data sources - compile and summarize data to meet business needs
-
Create and maintain reports utilizing a variety of tools including SQL, Excel, Google Analytics, SAP, and Tableau.
-
Identify opportunities to provide greater access to data and reporting through automating existing reports.
-
Coordinate with the Information Services Department as needed for implementing systems changes to address shortfalls in data availability or reliability.

Update and improve upon existing reports to provide maximum usefulness and accuracy of data.
Analyze the business
-
Support team members with interpretating data. Provide context for observations and results.
-
Work with the broader International team to understand business needs. Develop a strategy for crafting new business insights to satisfy these needs.

Work with partners across L.L.Bean to identify broader business questions & issues – act as a filter to determine impact to International business.

Answer ad hoc business questions: Seek understanding of key questions, design a plan for how to access data needed to answer question, compile, arrange, and synthesize data into a deliverable.

Make recommendations on how to improve and optimize marketing investments.

Read out to leaders on observations and business trends.
Predict the business

Forecast business performance as part of the monthly reprojection process, drawing on analysis of current trends, historical results and qualitative observations.

Assist in the development of key finance deliverables (Budget, Long Range Plan)

Assist in the development of the channel selling budget, collaborating with International marketing team members in optimizing spend in support of driving visibility, engagement, demand, and buyers.

Lead monthly plan updates and communicate changes to internal and external partners
The International team are focused on growth and operate in a dynamic environment; team members will need to be comfortable assuming additional related responsibilities as requested.
About you:

Education: Bachelor’s Degree

English Level: C1 (Advanced)

Experience: 1-2 years of experience

Very strong analytical skill, a critical thinker - able to challenge own work, ask questions, see flaws in data, highlight issues and find resolution

A problem solver with high curiosity & attention to detail

Able to draw on principles, theories, concepts to determine course of action

Excellent communications skills, both verbal and written; effectively facilitates cross functional communications

Self motivated, ability to manage multiple competing priorities and a commitment to completing work

Comfortable with Microsoft Office suite - strong Microsoft Excel skills

SQL skill (including the ability to write free-hand code), experience with Tableau, Familiarity with Google Analytics
