Global Infrastructure Partners (“GIP”), a part of BlackRock, is a leading infrastructure investment manager with US$193Bn of AUM, comprised of US$112Bn of Global Equity, US$39Bn of Specialized Equity, $31Bn of Credit, and $11Bn of Solutions capital as of September 30th, 2025. The GIP Credit Team has 60+ investment professionals that have deployed ~$19Bn of Investment-Grade capital and ~$10Bn of Non-Investment Grade capital in debt, preferred, and structured equity formats. As a member of the Asia-Pacific (APAC) Infrastructure Credit team, you will support the Singapore and Hong Kong based investment professionals in in the originating, assessing, executing, and monitoring infrastructure credit investments across developed and emerging APAC markets. This role provides an opportunity to work on complex infrastructure transactions and contribute to a growing platform with global reach and an established investment track record.
Job Purpose/Background:
The GIP Credit Team has an opportunity for a qualified and experienced candidate to join the investment team in Singapore. The role will have responsibility for project and financial modelling, deal assessment and execution, development and review of investment committee materials, and portfolio monitoring for both investment grade and non-investment grade transactions. The role will also involve assisting in preparing presentations and pitch books, cash flow analysis, researching and report writing. The position offers broad exposure to infrastructure sectors, financing structures, and investment transactions while providing opportunities for professional development within a collaborative and entrepreneurial investment environment.
Key Responsibilities:

The scope of this role also includes the following responsibilities:
- Financial modelling: running and developing bespoke financial models in order to analyze investment opportunities
- Deal assessment and execution: working with the team to assess and execute project investments. This will include conducting due diligence, financial review, and preparation of investment committee materials.
- Market research: including research on potential investments, policy, competitors, technology, sectors, etc.
- Portfolio monitoring: assist in the monitoring of investments in the portfolio
- Other ad-hoc tasks related to the Infrastructure Credit platform from time to time including fundraising activities
Qualifications:
We are looking for candidates with:
- 2-4 years of relevant work experience (e.g. Project Finance, Infrastructure Investing, Leverage Finance, M&A, or Restructuring, or related fields)
- Bachelor’s degree required with a strong academic record – Major in finance, economics, mathematics, statistics, or engineering a plus
- Strong financial modelling skills, particularly focused on cash flow and capital structure analysis
- Experience of undertaking infrastructure due diligence processes and reviewing finance and/or project legal documentation
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Quick learner who is highly organized, has exceptional project management skills and is able to manage multiple workstreams effectively and deliver quality work on schedule
- Enthusiasm and commitment to working in a friendly, entrepreneurial, team environment
- A keen interest in the infrastructure and debt markets
- Strong understanding of the infrastructure sectors and financing structures across Asia Pacific markets including Emerging Markets APAC
- Strong attention to detail, commercial judgment and problem-solving capabilities
- Fluency in English - additional Asian language a plus
