CardWorks Servicing, LLC provides end-to end operational servicing functions for credit cards, secured cards, and installment loans. We service consumer and small business loans across the credit spectrum and offers backup servicing and due diligence services to capital providers and trustees.

Position Summary
This role is primarily responsible for the handling of incoming and outgoing mail, return mail, as well as preparation for our scanning operations by our vendor. Specifically, this role handles the distribution and collection of incoming mail and return mail, preparation, processing and forwarding of outgoing mail and determining, affixing, and recording postage on registered mail/packages, check handling for our Settlement Services department, and other mail room functions as required and as the needs of the company evolve. As an Associate in the mailroom, this position also requires performing administrative and clerical duties inherent in the mail handling process and providing operational and customer support regarding these processes.Essential Functions
- As assigned, tracks incoming mail, return mail, correspondence, checks, etc., and processes incoming/ outgoing overnight packages
- Reviews, sorts, and prepares incoming mail to be forwarded for imaging
- Assists other departments as needed
- Maintains knowledge of current policy and procedure changes and updates, and serves as a resource to clients, and external departments
- Handles the printing, folding, and stuffing for outgoing correspondence to customers
- Processes ad-hoc scanning requests as received by other operational areas
- Performs delivery of mail to appropriate personnel and departments as needed
- Captures and destroys returned cards
- Fulfills special mailing requests as needed from other departments
- Adheres to the regulatory timeframes and controls within the department and business unit
- Other functions and duties as required by management/evolving needs of the department.
Education and Experience:
- High School Diploma or its equivalent education required
- One (1) year of related operations, support, or mailroom experience highly desirable
- One (1) year of credit card or banking industry experience is a plus
- Experience working with computers is required

Work Environment/Physical Demands:
- Due to the work requirements of this role, it is performed 100% onsite with no possibility for remote work. The ideal candidate will work from the Woodbury, NY office location.
- Work is in an office environment, sustained posture in a seated position for prolonged periods of time; works with computer equipment for prolonged periods of time.

The salary range for this position, if located in NY Metro/NY state is $17.00 to $22.00 hourly. However, please note that the salary range will vary for other geographic areas.
